Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá predtransfúznym vyšetrením, ako nevyhnutným krokom pred poskytnutím hemoterapie. Teoretická časť zahŕňa prehľad jednotlivých vyšetrení, ktoré sú súčasťou predtransfúzneho vyšetrenia. Popisuje postupy a princípy vyšetrení a taktiež najpoužívanejšie techniky, ktorými sa vyšetrenia prevádzajú.
