The West Indies Federation from the Perspective of Political Geography
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zabývá Západoindickou federací se zaměřením na politicko-geografické faktory. Jejím cílem je odpovědět na otázky, co vedlo Velkou Británii ke sjednocení karibských ostrovů do této federace, co způsobilo její zánik a jakým způsobem ovlivnila existence Západoindické federace budoucí vývoj regionu.
Abstract:
Bachelor thesis studies the West Indies Federation with the focus on factors of political geography. The goal is to answer the following questions. Why did the British unite the caribbean islands into this federation? What caused its dissolution? And how did the existence of the West Indies Federation influence future regional development?
