Tato práce se zabývá stvořitelskými mýty Germánů, Slovanů a biblickou zprávou o stvoření. V práci jsou představeny dochované záznamy stvořitelských mýtů, jejich obsah a okolnosti jejich záznamu. Pro lepší pochopení formování těchto příběhů a jejich záznamu, jsou připojeny i základní informace o počátečním formování daného národa a jeho mytologické tradice. This work examines creation myths of Germanic people, Slavs and the biblical account of creation. In the work are presented surviving records of creation myths, their content and the circumstances of their recording.
