Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá knižními sériemi Slečna Marplová od Agathy Christie a Vraždy v Midsomeru od Caroline Grahamové. Uvádí prvky takzvané „zlaté éry detektivního románu“, porovnává je s danými sériemi a říká, proč by Grahamová mohla být řazena k této tradici. Abstract:
This bachelor’s thesis deals with Miss Marple book series by Agatha Christie and Midsomer Murders series by Caroline Graham. It compares the two series with features of the so called “golden age of detective fiction” and states why Caroline Graham can be assigned to this tradition. It also examines the natures of the main detective figures and the way they use their abilities while solving crimes. …more
