Cílem práce bylo provést neoformalistickou analýzu snímku Výchozí bod amerického režiséra Mika Cahilla a nelézt dominantu snímku, která by fungovala jako hlavní jednotící princip celého díla. Při psaní samotné analýzy jsem vycházel převážně z textu "Neoformalistická filmová analýza, jeden přístup mnoho metod," od Kristin Thompsonové. Snímek se tematicky zaměřuje na střet vědy a víry. The aim of the work was to make a neoformalist analysis of the movie I, Origins from an american director Mike Cahill and to find the dominant that would function as the main unifying principle of the whole work. When writing the analysis, my primary source was Neo-formalist film analysis, one approach to many methods, by Kristin Thompson.
