Population development of the Ústí region and districts of the Ústí region after 1989.

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je populační analýza Ústeckého kraje a jeho okresů po roce 1989. Okrajově je zde zmíněna problematika hospodářsky slabých regionů. V teoretické rovině je zde popsána demografická analýza, vyjmenovány nejdůležitější ukazatele a v neposlední řadě také zmíněna problematika hospodářsky slabých regionů. Dále jsou zde analyzovány všechny okresy, včetně hodnot za celý kraj, z pohledu vývoje počtu obyvatel a vývoje hrubých měr přirozeného přírůstku, migračního salda a celkového přírůstku. Taktéž je zde částečně charakterizován trh práce. Počet obyvatel v Ústeckém kraji neustále klesá, i když většina ukazatelů v posledních letech nabývá pozitivnějších hodnot. Přesto je dlouhodobě Ústecký kraj jeden z nejproblematičtějších krajů České republiky.

Abstract:

The main purpos of this Masters´s thesis is a pupulation analysis of the Ústí Region and its districts after 1989. Marginally, the issue of economically weak regions is mentioned here. In the theoretical plane, demographic analysisis described, the most important indicators are listed and, last but not least, the issues of economically weak regions is mentioned. Furthermore, all districts are analyzed, including values for the whole region, in terms of the population development and the development of the gross rates of natural increase, migration and population growth. The labour market is also partially characterized. The number of inhabitants in the Ústí Region has been steadily decreasing, although most indicators have gained more positive values in recent years. Nevertheless, the Ústí Region in long terms is one of the most problematic regions of the Czech Republic.
