Bakalářská práce má teoretický charakter popisující zdroje s údaji o počtu obyvatelstva. Cílem této práce je přiblížit problematiku odlišných dat vycházejících z jednotlivých zdrojů o obyvatelstvu, poukázat na příčinu vzniku diferenciací a nastínit možná řešení sjednocení celého systému.
