The Body Fluid Art: Theory and practice between Bio Art and Sci Art

Abstract:

Magisterská diplomová práce se zaměřuje na představení umění tělních tekutin (body fluid art) jako tvorby v prostoru mezi bio art a sci art. Výzkumný projekt bude rozdělen na dvě části – teoretickou a praktickou. Nejdříve představím pojem umění tělních tekutin v rámci bio art a sci art a následně budu dokumentovat vlastní praktický experiment v kontextu umění tělních tekutin, jehož hlavním výstupem bude personalizovaný prsten s krystalem ve tvaru růže.

Abstract:

The master´s thesis focuses on the presentation of body fluid art as a creation in the space between bio art and sci art. The research project is divided into two parts – theoretical and practical. Firstly, I introduce the concept of body fluid art within bio art and sci art and then I document my own practical experiment in the context of body fluid art, that results in a personalised ring with a rose-shaped crystal.
