Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou kartografického znázornění živé složky krajiny v prostředí WWW a soustředí se jmenovitě na zobrazení botanických zahrad. Rešeršní část práce je věnována vyjadřovacím prostředkům používaným v biogeografii a způsobům publikace map na WWW, na tuto část navazuje kapitola hodnotící existující interaktivní mapy s botanickou tematikou. This diploma thesis deals with issues of cartographic representation of living components of the landscape in the WWW environment and is mainly focused on a portrayal of botanical gardens. The research part is devoted to cartographic ways of expression used in biogeography and to various methods of map publication through WWW.
