Effective Testing of Local Git Branches Using Remote Execution
Abstract:
Tato práce je zaměřena na vývoj nástroje, který usnadňuje efektivní pre-commit testování lokálních změn kódu uložených v gitu pomocí dálkového spuštění na Jenkins CI. Jako teoretický předpoklad je představeno řízení konfigurace softwaru a popsáno je několik relevantních nástrojů pro projektovou automatizaci, včetně Apache Maven.
Abstract:
This thesis is focused on development of a tool that facilitates effective pre-commit testing of local code changes, stored in git, using remote execution on Jenkins CI. Software configuration management is introduced as a theoretical prerequisite and several relevant project automation tools, including Apache Maven are described.
