The revolutionary period of criminology at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá kriminalistikou na přelomu 19. a 20. století, kdy tento konkrétní časový úsek lze považovat za revoluční, neboť při něm došlo k velkým pokrokům v rámci mnoha věd, což vedlo k modernizaci již zmiňované vědy. Součástí mé práce bude nejprve výčet, dle mého názoru, nejvýznamnějších metod a technik, které v té době vznikly. U každé sepíši okolnosti jejího vzniku, první doložený případ a první způsoby použití. Další částí mé práce bude soupis případů z archivu, ve kterých byly použity metody a techniky, které zmiňuji první části své práce.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with criminology at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, when this particular period of time can be considered revolutionary, as it made great progress in many sciences, which led to the modernization of already mentioned science. Part of my work will first be a list, in my opinion, of the most important methods and techniques that emerged at that time. For each I write the circumstances of its origin, the first documented case, the first ways of use. Another part of my work will be an inventory of cases from the archives in which methods and techniques were used, which I mention in the first parts of my work.
