The bachelor’s thesis deals with the subjunctive mood in the contemporary Italian language. The theoretical part explains the use of this grammatical mood, introduces the tendency of contemporary Italian to replace the subjunctive with other grammatical moods and presents the reasons that lead to this linguistic phenomenon. Bakalářská práce se zabývá konjunktivem v současném italském jazyce. Teoretická část vysvětluje správné použití tohoto slovesného způsobu, představuje tendenci současné italštiny nahrazovat konjunktiv jinými slovesnými způsoby a uvádí důvody, které k tomuto jazykovému jevu vedou.
