BI reporting tools and its possibilities

Anotace:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá Business Intelligence reportovacími nástroji a jejich využití. Práce je rozdělena do šesti částí. V první části jsou vytyčeny potřebné pojmy a popsány principy Business Intelligence a důležitost použití v podnikové praxi. Ve druhé části práce se zabývám historickým vývojem Business Intelligence. V další, třetí části se čtenář dozví detailní popis principů Business Intelligence a seznámí se s reportovacími nástroji na trhu. Čtvrtá část se zabývá současnými trendy Business Intelligence reportovacích nástrojů a čtenář se seznámí se srovnáním vybraných nástrojů na trhu. Praktická, pátá část této práce, se zabývá analýzou stávajícího stavu a návrhem řešení zavedení Business Intelligence reportovacích nástrojů v reálné firmě dodávající na trh řešení systémů pro hospodářství s vodou.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis inquires Business Intelligence reporting tools and its usage for the company. The study contains six parts. The first part describes the needed terms and principles of Business Intelligence. The second part is all about history that leads to the term of Business Intelligence. In the third part the reader finds detailed description of Business Intelligence principles and will be introduced to Business Intelligence reporting tools. Fourth part gives overview of products on the market and the summarized comparison of products by 5 leading vendors on the market. The practical part of this study analyzes present processes of reporting and proposes a solution of implementing Business Intelligence reporting tools to a company delivering systems for managing water.
