Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce řeší situaci začínajících učitelů 1. stupně ZŠ na počátku jejich pedagogické praxe. Cílem bylo zachytit, zda vybraným začínajícím učitelům byla poskytnuta nějaká forma podpory a pomoci, s jakými obtížemi se tito učitelé na počátku výkonu učitelské profese setkávají a jak subjektivně vnímají svou připravenost pro výkon svého povolání. Šetření bylo realizováno formou individuálních polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s 8 absolventkami studijního programu učitelství 1. stupně ZŠ na PdF OU s praxí do 5 let a z výsledků vyplývá, že většině dotazovaných absolventek byla poskytnuta podpora a pomoc ze strany zkušenějších kolegů. Dále výsledky ukazují, že největší obtíže dotazovaným respondentkám na začátku pedagogické praxe činila zejména komunikace s rodiči, budování autority a kázně ve třídě, řešení osobních problémů žáků nebo práce s administrativou, kdy se na tyto situace necítily být dostatečně připraveny. Záměrem práce je poskytnout začínajícím učitelům vhled do problematiky počátků pedagogické praxe a nabídnout zprostředkované zkušenosti začínajících učitelů z praxe.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the situation of beginning teachers at first stage primary schools at the beginning of their teaching career. The aim was to investigate whether the interviewed beginning teachers were provided with any form of support and assistance, what difficulties they encountered at the beginning of their teaching profession, and how they felt about their preparation for the job. The investigation was carried out in the form of individual semi-structured interviews with 8 female graduates of the first stage primary school teaching programme at the Faculty of Education of the University of Ostrava with up to 5 years of experience, and the results show that most of the interviewed graduates were provided with support and assistance from more experienced colleagues. Furthermore, the results show that the biggest difficulties for the respondents at the beginning of their teaching practice were communication with parents, building authority and discipline in the classroom, dealing with personal problems of their pupils, and working with administration, for which they did not feel to have been provided with commensurate preparation. The thesis aims to provide beginning teachers with insight into issues they will encounter and adumbrate mediated experience of what it is like to become a teacher at a first stage primary school.
