Abstract:

Předmětem této bakalářské práce je zkoumání výskytu přehnané sebedůvěry u studentů na vysoké škole. Cílem práce je na základě dotazníkového šetření ověřit, zda existuje optimistické zkreslení při odhadu výsledků zkoušky a testovat hypotézu, že je přehnaná sebedůvěra častější u mužů než u žen. Současně se práce zabývá tím, zda se zkreslení při odhadu výsledků zkoušky mění v průběhu semestru. Dříve provedené výzkumy jsou popsány v literární rešerši. V části s výsledky jsou pak uvedeni autoři, jejichž výsledky se shodují s výsledky této práce.

Abstract:

The subject of this thesis is research into occurrence of overconfidence bias among students at university. The aim of thesis is to verify, based on questionnaire, if there is an optimistic distortion in estimation of the exam results and to test a hypothesis that overconfidence is more common among men than women. At the same time, the thesis is dealing with the distortion changing throughout the semester. Earlier carried out studies are described in literature review. In the section with results there are mentioned the authors whose results are the same as the results of this thesis.
