V současnosti je demokracie považována za standardní formu moderního vládnutí. Maďarsko velmi silně usilovalo o evropskou integraci a vstup do NATO, ten se uskutečnil v roce 1999. Currently, democracy is considered the standard form of modern governance. Hungary strongly strove for European integration and accession to NATO, which took place in 1999.
