Educational and social aspect of playing computer games from teacher's point of view

Abstract:

Magisterská diplomová práce nesoucí název „Vzdělávací a sociální aspekty hraní počítačových her pohledem učitelů“ se zabývá oblastí informačních a komunikačních technologií ve spojení se školní výukou a sociálními a vzdělávacími aspekty hraní počítačových her. Práce se zaměřuje na vývoj informačních a komunikačních technologií ve vzdělávání, jejich zavádění do výuky, možnostmi využití a rozvoje. Dále práce obsahuje seznámení se strategickými dokumenty, které jsou pro Českou republiku a informační a komunikační technologie stěžejní. Rovněž mapuje vztah učitelů k informačním a komunikačním technologiím. Dále popisuje možnosti a využití počítačových her ve výuce. Práce taktéž nabídne vhled do základních vzdělávacích a výukových počítačových her a projektů se zaměřením na využití her. Uvádí také sociální a vzdělávací aspekty hraní počítačových her z pohledu profesionálních hráčů. V empirické části se práce orientuje na vzdělávací a sociální aspekty hraní počítačových her z pohledu učitelů, kteří sami taktéž hrají počítačové hry.

Abstract:

Master´s Thesis named „Educational and social aspects of gaming from teachers point of view is concerned on area information and communication technologies in connection with schooling and social and education aspects of computers game playing. Thesis is concerned about information and communication technologies development in schooling, their implementation in teaching, options for use and development. Thesis also contain introduction with strategic documents, which are crucial for Czech republic and for information and communication technology . Also mapping relationship of teachers to information and communication technologies. Further describing option and use of computer games in teaching. Thesis also offer insight into basic educational and training computer games and projects with focus to use of games. It also bring social and educational aspect of computer games playing from point of view of proffesional gamers. In empiric part of Thesis it is oriented on educational and social aspects of computer games playing from point of view of teachers, which are playing these games themself.
