Bakalárska práca je zameraná na právnu úpravu pracovnoprávnych vztahov v štátnej službe. Štátna služba sa vykonáva v štátnozamestnaneckom pomere alebo v služobnom pomere. Štátnozamestnanecký pomer upravuje zákon c. 400/2009 Z. z. o štátnej službe a o zmene a doplnení niektorých zákonov a služobný pomer osobitných skupín zamestnancov v štátnej službe upravuje pät zákonov.
