The influence of a Rising load on the knee kinematics of children in mountainbiking

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problémem, jaký vliv má rostoucí zatížení na kinematiku kolenního kloubu u mladých cyklistů při testu do vita maxima. Cílem práce bylo zjistit, jak se změní rozsah pohybu s rostoucí intenzitou zatížení a jak tato zátěž ovlivní symetrii kolenního kloubu pravé i levé nohy během šlapání. Šetření bylo zaměřeno na sagitální a frontální kinematickou rovinu ve třech zátěžových intervalech (nízký, střední, vysoký). Výzkumnou skupinu tvořilo pět probandů, kteří se aktivně věnují cyklistice a jsou žáky 2. stupně základní školy. Měření probíhalo díky infračervených kamer a tento záznam byl dále zpracován v softwarech Qualisys Track Manager a Visual3D. Test byl proveden na bicyklovém ergometru Lode Excalibur. K největším kinematickým změnám dochází u dětí v sagitální rovině u rozsahu pohybu. Během flexe v kolenním kloubu dochází k větším kinematickým změnám než během extenze. Během flexe i extenze dochází hlavně k asymetrii. Ve frontální rovině byly největší změny zjištěny u rozsahu pohybu. Během abdukce dochází k větším kinematickým změnám než u addukce. U addukce byly nejčastěji zjištěny hodnoty blížící se absolutní symetrii. Během abdukce nebyla zjištěna žádná hodnota, blížící se symetrii. Výsledky studie by mohly pomoct při dalším biomechanickém měření, trenérům v tréninkovém procesu nebo i učitelům na cyklistických kurzech.

Abstract:

Purpose of this diploma thesis is, how does regularly growing load affect knee joint kinematics in among of young cyclists during the vita maxima test. The aim of this thesis was to discover, how range of motion changes during the regularly growing load and how does this load affect symmetry of the knee joints during pedalling. Survey was aimed on the sagittal and frontal plane in a three different workloads (low, medium, high). Tested subjects in this study were five young male cyclists in secondary school age. The attempts were captured by a system of infra-red cameras and this footage was processed by softwares Qualisys Track Manager and Visual3D. Test was waged on bicycle ergometer Lode Excalulibur. The greatest kinematic changes occured in children was found in the sagittal plane in range of motion. During knee flexion, greater kinematic changes were found than during knee extension. During flexion and extension, mostly asymmetry were found. In the frontal plane range of motion, the greatest kinematic changes were found. During knee abduction, there were found greater kinematic changes than in adduction. The most often symmetry was found during adduction. In abduction, there weren't found any values approaching symmetry. The results of this study could help in future biomechanical measurements, trainers in training procces or teachers during cycling courses.
