Strengthening factors of employees of a multi-disciplinary team caring for the dying and their families in selected homes for the elderly

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá zkoumáním posilujících faktorů, které pomáhají pracovníkům multidisciplinárních týmů pečovat o umírající klienty a jejich blízké ve vybraných domovech pro seniory. Cílem práce je zodpovědět stanovenou hlavní výzkumnou otázku, jenž zní: „Jaké posilující faktory podporují pracovníky multidisciplinárních týmů v péči o umírající klienty a jejich rodiny ve vybraných domovech pro seniory?“ Teoretická část práce vysvětluje klíčové pojmy, které vyplývají z hlavní výzkumné otázky. V metodologické části je vysvětlena použitá výzkumná metoda kvalitativní, jejímž prostřednictvím bylo realizováno 10 polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s vybranými členy multidisciplinárních týmů ve vybraných domovech pro seniory. V analytické části se nachází interpretace získaných dat, na jejichž základě jsou zodpovězeny stanovené dílčí výzkumné otázky, ze kterých vyplývá i odpověď na hlavní výzkumnou otázku.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the research of strengthening factors that help employees of multidisciplinary teams to take care of dying clients and their close relatives in selected homes for the elderly. The aim of the thesis is to answer the main research question: ,,What strengthening factors support the staff of multidisciplinary teams in the care of dying clients and their families in selected homes for the elderly?" The theore-tical part explains the key concepts that arise from the main research question. The methodological part explains the qualitative research method used, through which 10 semi-structured interviews were conducted with selected members of multidisciplinary teams in selected homes for the elderly. In the analytical part there is an interpretation of the obtained data on the basis of which the determined partial research questions are answered, from which the answer to the main research question also follows.
