Práce se zabývá vývojem a fungováním města Chrudim v blízkosti regionálního centra Pardubic. Úvodem se zaměřuje na definici metropolitního areálu a procesy, které v něm probíhají. Dále shrnuje vývoj menšího města Chrudim, a poté bude práce směřovat na vymezení vztahů Chrudimi k Pardubicím po roce 1989 pomocí ukazatelů obyvatelstva, dojížďky do práce a dotazníkového šetření. The work deals with the development of the city Chrudim and its functioning near the regional center Pardubice. At the beginning the work focuses on the definition of the metropolitan area and the processes that take place in it.
