In this study, an efficient micropropagation protocol has been developed for Disanthus cercidifolius Maxim. (Hamamelidaceae), a shrub originating in China and Japan, with attractive purple fall colour of leaves and great horticultural potential as ornamental shrub in parks and gardens.
