The impact of the crisis at the beginning of the 1990s on the development of the Finnish economy

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce „Vliv krize na počátku 90. let na vývoj finské ekonomiky“ je zjistit, jak krize na počátku 90. let a následné reformy ovlivnily směr vývoje, trendy a makroekonomické indikátory finské ekonomiky. První kapitola je zaměřena na aspekty předkrizového období, které mají souvislost s ekonomickou krizí. Druhá kapitola popisuje krizi samotnou, její příčiny a makroekonomické důsledky. Ve třetí kapitole jsou reformy a změny, které byly provedeny ve finském hospodářství po skončení ekonomické krize. V závěrečné části jsou sestaveny ekonometrické modely makroekonomických indikátorů: HDP, inflace, nezaměstnanosti a zahraničního obchodu.

Abstract:

The goal of the diploma thesis „The impact of the crisis at the beginning of the 1990s on the development of the Finnish economy“ is to find out how crisis at the beginning of the 90s and subsequent reforms influenced the course of the development, trends and macroeconomic indicators of the Finnish economy. The first chapter is focused on the aspects of pre-crisis period which have connection with economic crisis. The second chapter describes crisis itself, its causes and macroeconomic consequences. The third chapter is aimed to the reforms and changes which were made in the Finnish economy when the economic crisis came to an end. The final part is focused on the construction of the econometric models of the macroeconomic indicators: GDP, inflation, unemployment and foreign trade.
