Analysis of job opportunities in the tourism industry

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je vymezit a blíže charakterizovat pracovní příležitosti typické pro odvětví cestovního ruchu a zkoumat současné potřeby zaměstnavatelů v cestovním ruchu. První část práce je zaměřena na vymezení pracovních příležitostí v cestovním ruchu a určení faktorů a subjektů ovlivňujících trh práce v cestovním ruchu. První část obsahuje i kapitolu o vzděláváním v cestovním ruchu a provázanosti vzdělávacího systému s potřebami trhu práce. Druhá část práce se soustředí na analýzu inzertní nabídky pracovních příležitostí na internetu. Výsledky analýzy inzertní nabídky jsou podkladem pro bližší specifikaci pracovních příležitostí. Zjišťována byla především jejich struktura, regionální rozmístění a odvětví cestovního ruchu, ve kterých jsou vytvářeny. Z analýzy inzertní nabídky vyplývají rovněž potřeby zaměstnavatelů v cestovním ruchu. Tyto potřeby jsou vyjádřeny především v nárocích na vzdělání, praxi, jazykové schopnosti a klíčové kompetence.

Abstract:

The main objective of this thesis is to define and describe in detail job opportunities in the tourism industry and to research current employer needs. The first part of the thesis focuses on defining of job opportunities in the tourism industry and on determination of factors and subjects which influence the labour market in the tourism industry. One of the chapters explains the meaning of the education in the tourism and compares the education system with labour market needs. The second part concentrates on the analysis of job offers on the internet. Results of the analysis allow describing job opportunities regarding to their structure, region and tourism sector in which they ensue. Employer needs arise from the job offer analysis too and they are expressed by demands on education, training, language skills and other important skills.
