Afrikaner Nationalism and Apartheid
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na problematiku afrikánského nacionalismu. Cílem práce je přinést ucelený pohled na afrikánský nacionalismus, zejména pak na jeho projevy v politickém a běžném životě. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována ideologii rasové segregace. Závěrečná kapitola přináší srovnání vybraných aspektů dvou vyhrocených nacionalistických extrémů: apartheidu a nacismu.
Abstract:
The bachelor thesis deals with the Afrikaner nationalism. The goal of the thesis is to provide a complex view on Afrikaner nationalism, especially its impact on political and common life. A special attention is devoted to the ideology of the racial segregation. The final chapter brings comparison of selected aspects of two nationalistic extremes: apartheid and Nazism.
