This bachelor thesis deals with comparison of german and czech symbolism in phrasems with animal components, with the focus on a dog, horse and lion. The theoretical part is focusing on explaining the main terms in phraseology, which belong to the basic knowledge about phraseology. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá srovnáním německé a české symboliky v oblasti frazeologismů se zvířecími komponenty, kde se autorka zaměřuje na psa, koně a lva. Teoretická část se zabývá vysvětlením hlavních frazeologických pojmů, které patří k základním znalostem o frazeologii. Dále se zabývá vysvětlením symboliky již zmíněných zvířat v naučné literatuře.
