Abstract:

Cílem mé bakalářské práce je rozbor násilí ve vybraných pohádkách z díla English Fairy Tales napsané Josephem Jacobsem. Aby bylo možné násilí analyzovat, považoval jsem za potřebné nejdříve rozpracovat některé koncepty souvisící s tématem této bakalářské práce. Proto by se tato práce dala teoreticky obsahově rozdělit na dvě části. V první části rozpracovávám koncept pohádek, jejich definování, vznik a teorie jejich analyzování. Dále se pak zabývám samotným termínem násilí a jeho vztahem ke čtenáři pohádek. Na kapitolu o násilí plynule navazuji kapitolou o vývojové psychologii, neboť považuji za důležité vystihnout, jakým způsobem funguje v různých životních fázích dětský mozek, potažmo, jak může násilí působit na děti. V neposlední řadě rozpracovávám koncept Jungiánské psychoanalýzy, kterou pak používám pro analýzu pohádek samotných. V druhé části této práce je možné najít samotnou analýzu násilí v pohádkách. Konkrétně jde o analýzu tři pečlivě vybraných pohádek, ve kterých je hledáno násilí, jak je zobrazeno, jak může působit na čtenáře a jaká je jeho funkce. Toto se děje za pomoci dalšího literárního materiálu a studií. V závěru jsou shrnuté veškeré informace o této práci, stejně jakou jsou tamtéž prezentovány výsledky.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to elaborate on the violence presented in selected fairy tales. I decided to analyse violence in three fairy tales from the book English Fairy Tales written by Joseph Jacobs, as I think this author is ideal for that purpose. To be able to analyse those fairy tale I had to elaborate on several terms and theories throughout various fields of interest. First, I elaborated on the term fairy tale and on the origins of this genre. Second, I work out chapter on violence. I defined the term, explained how the term is used in this thesis, and I also explained the relationship between the violence and the young reader. And I fluently tied this chapter to another one, which elaborates on developmental psychology. I did this, because developing children’s mind differ from the mind of adults in a great way. Thirdly, I elaborate on the Analytical Psychology, as I have chosen this theory as a method of analysis. Fifth chapter deals with the analysis itself. A reader can find here three selected fairy tales that are analysed using the information provided in the previous four chapters. In conclusion, I summarize the whole bachelor thesis, as well as I provided the reader with the results.
