The Old and New in the Early Work of Juhani Aho
Abstract:
Juhani Aho ve svých realistických románech a novelách zobrazuje vznik moderního finského národa ve druhé půli 19. století. Finskou národní identitu tvoří v kontrastu, příp. i v souladu, mezi starým a novým. Tato práce se zabývá autorovou ranou tvorbou a na příkladech vybraných děl srovnává kontrastní místa.
Abstract:
Juhani Aho expresses origin of modern Finnish nation of the second half of the 19th century in his realistic novels. He makes Finnish national identity in contrast, possibly in compliance between old and new. This thesis deals with the author's early activity and compares contrast passages on examples of representative writings.
