Literary motifs in the works of Jan Preisler
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce je věnována českému výtvarnému umělci Janu Preislerovi, jehož díla jsou zde interpretovány v souvislosti s literárními motivy, kterými se ve své tvorbě inspiroval. Součástí práce je také uvedení do symbolismu v poezii a výtvarném umění. V závěru je tvorba Jana Preislera srovnána s dalšími současníky - Františkem Bílkem a Maxem Švabinským.
Abstract:
The bachelor thesis deals with the Czech artist Jan Preisler whose artworks are interpreted in connection with literary motifs which has inspired him. Other part of thesis is also a short outline of tendencies in visual art and literature in the end of nineteenth century. In the end are Preisler’s works compared with two contemporaries - František Bílek and Max Švabinský.
