Evaluation of Urban Values of Southwestern Part of Prague (City District Prague 5)

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá zmapováním a vyhodnocením urbanistických hodnot historických jader obcí (původní venkovská sídla) v jihozápadní části Prahy, spadajících pod městskou část Praha 5, Praha-Slivenec, Praha 13, Praha-Řeporyje, Praha 16, Praha-Lipence, Praha-Lochkov, Praha-Velká Chuchle, Praha-Zbraslav, Praha-Zličín, která se v průběhu 20. století postupně připojovala k Praze. Vybrané území Prahy bylo osidlováno od doby kamenné přes období středověku, novověku, 19.století, začátku 20. století až po současnost. Každé z těchto období mělo na vybranou lokalitu určitý vliv, kdy dosahovalo takového rozsahu, že urbanistické hodnoty v těchto lokalitách byly dochovány dodnes. Hlavními zdroji k zmapování a vyhodnocení urbanistických hodnot dané části Prahy je literatura o Praze společně s literaturou zaměřující se na dané lokality, mapové podklady, vlastní terénní průzkum a územně analytické podklady hl. m. Prahy.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the mapping and evaluation of urban values of historical town centers (original rural settlements) in the southwestern part of Prague, falling under the Prague 5 district, Prague-Slivenec, Prague 13, Prague-Reporyje, Prague 16, Prague-Lipence, Prague-Lochkov, Prague-Velká Chuchle, Prague-Zbraslav, Prague-Zličín, which gradually joined Prague during the 20th century. The selected area of Prague has been settled since the Stone Age throughout the Middle Ages, the Modern Age, the 19th century, the beginning of the 20th century to the present. Each of these periods had a certain impact on the selected locality, reaching such an extent that the urban values in these localities have been preserved to this day. The main sources for mapping and evaluating of urban values of the given part of Prague are literature about Prague together with literature focusing on the given localities, maps, my own field research and territorial analytical documents of the City of Prague.
