Annotated Spanish-Czech translation of non-literary text (linguistic area): EL ESPAŇOL DE AMÉRICA CENTRAL AYER, HOY Y MAŇANA

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is a translation of the specialized linguistic text from Spanish to Czech language, its analysis and making of glossary of terms. This university qualification work is divided in four main chapters. The first chapter focuses on the translation of the text about Central American Spanish. In the following part the source text is analysed from the perspective of stylistics and linguistics and an integral part of the work is a comment of the text arrangement. The third part deals with a chosen translation methodology including phases of work of the translator, translation techniques and specific problems of translation of this text. The last chapter pays attention to the 45 terminological units excerpted from the source text, which are listed in tables and are specified their characteristics.

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je překlad odborného textu z oblasti lingvistiky ze španělského do českého jazyka, jeho analýza a vypracování terminologického glosáře. Tato vysokoškolská kvalifikační práce se člení do čtyř hlavních kapitol. V úvodu se zabývá překladem samotného textu o španělštině ve Střední Americe. V následující kapitole je výchozí text analyzován z perspektivy stylistiky a lingvistiky a nedílnou součástí je též komentář o formální stránce. Třetí kapitola se zabývá zvolenou překladatelskou metodologií včetně fází překladatele, technikami překladu a specifickými problémy, které překlad tohoto textu přináší. Poslední kapitola se zaměřuje na 45 terminologických jednotek excerpovaných z výchozího textu, které jsou uvedeny v tabulkách za účelem jejích specifikace.
