Efficiency of a 48V Mild hybrid unit of city bus in operation from view of fuel consumption

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce je zhodnocení efektivity 48V Mild hybridní jednotky městského autobusu v provozu z hlediska spotřeby paliva. Teoretická část popisuje vznik a význam 48V sítě silničních vozidel. Uvádí rozdělení vozidel z pohledu hybridizace, charakteristiku a funkcionalitu vybraných komponentů a informuje o současných předních výrobcích hybridních autobusů. Zahrnuje také způsoby měření spotřeby paliva, vybrané standardizované jízdní cykly a faktory ovlivňující spotřebu paliva. Rovněž přibližuje pohled na budoucnost v oblasti vývoje a snižování emisí autobusů. Úvod praktické části patří popisu experimentálního vozidla a dílčích funkcí hybridního systému. Následuje experiment s cílem posoudit efektivitu mild hybridní jednotky z pohledu spotřeby paliva. Ten je proveden dle standardizovaného projektu SORT včetně měření v reálném provozu za účelem prověření naměřených hodnot a funkcionality vozidla.

Abstract:

The subject of the thesis is evaluation of the efficiency 48V Mild hybrid city bus unit in real operation in terms of fuel consumption. The theoretical part describes the origin and importance of 48V network of road vehicles. Describes distribution of vehicles from hybridization point of view, includes characteristics and functionality of selected components and presents current leading manufactures of hybrid buses. It also includes part describing fuel measuring methods and their application in standardized driving cycles including factors affecting the fuel consumption. It also looks to the future of the development and bus emissions reduction. The introduction of practical part describes the experimental vehicle and functionality of hybrid system parts. Following is experiment with aim of the efficiency of mild hybrid unit in terms of fuel consumption. That was done according to standardized SORT project include test in the real operation with aim to verify measured values and vehicle functionality.
