Republic of South Africa as the regional leader

Abstract:

Práce rozebírá otázku postavení hegemona JAR v regionu jižní Afriky. Popisuje historický vývoj země a proces demokratizace země, které předurčují toto silné postavení mezi okolními státy. Jako důkaz tohoto faktu slouží krátká definice ekonomiky JAR a její vliv na okolní málo vyspělé státy.

Abstract:

During 20th century South Africa passed out a dynamic progress. This development a run of state was under the control of inhabitants from Dutch and England. They created a specific culture of multi-ethnic state. They also created a specific state machinery, where the blacks were opressed and degorated from their rights. This system of ethnic segregation (apartheid) was made deeper after the Second World War, when National Party (represented Africaners) won election to the parliament. National Party with her policy created stronger discrimination of blacks and created for them special areas (homelands).Through complicated progress South Africa became a power of Southern Africa. South Africa is a economic engine of region. Every rise and fall of SA is importing to all states of region Southern Africa.
