Happiness management in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá zkoumáním konceptu Happiness managementu ve firmách působících v České republice. Happiness management je poměrně novým modelem řízení, který se pro jeho podstatné přínosy stává trendem v zahraničí a postupně začíná pronikat i do prostředí českých firem. Hlavním cílem práce je zjistit, jaká je zkušenost manažerů štěstí či jiných zaměstnanců, v jejichž náplni práce je péče o štěstí zaměstnanců, s modelem řízení Happiness managementu v prostředí firem sídlících v České republice. Dílčími cíli práce je analyzovat činnost manažerů štěstí, jejich vnímání pojmu štěstí vpráci a Happiness managementu a zjistit výhody, které koncept Happiness managementu přináší. Z důvodu, že manažeři štěstí zodpovídají za implementaci nástrojů zvyšující štěstí aduševní zdraví zaměstnanců, práce zároveň analyzuje, jakým způsobem a zda vůbec pečují o své vlastní psychické a fyzické zdraví.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis examines the concept of Happiness management in companies operating in the Czech Republic. Happiness management is a relatively new management model, which is becoming a trend abroad due to its significant benefits and is gradually starting to penetrate into the environment of Czech companies as well. The main goal of the thesis is to find out what the experience of happiness managers or other employees whose job is to take care of the happiness of employees, is with the Happiness management model in the environment of companies based in the Czech Republic. The partial goals of the thesis are to analyze the activities of happiness managers, their perception of the concept of happiness at work and Happiness management, and to find out the benefits that the concept of Happiness management brings. Due to the fact that happiness managers are responsible for implementing tools that increase the happiness and mental health of employees, the thesis also analyzes how and if they take care of their own mental and physical health.
