Fundraising Marketing Project for Special Treatment of a Selected Individual

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na téma fundraisingu, marketingu a prostřednictvím příslušných metod získání cílové finanční částky pro podporu speciální léčby jedince.V teoretické části jsou posuzovány poznatky z oblasti fundraisingu, chování dárců, fundraisingových strategií, marketingové komunikace, vztahového marketingu a aktuálním trendům v oblasti podpory darování, chování dárců či měření úspěšnosti fundraisingových aktivit. Dále jsou analyzovány užívané fundraisingové aktivity, současný rozpočet a zdroje jeho pokrytí a je zjištěn plán na následující rok a s ním i možnosti nových způsobů financování. Je vytvořeno dotazníkové šetření s cílem zjistit motivaci a chování dárců a následné poznatky jsou shrnuty SWOT analýzou. Na základě těchto zjištěných skutečností je nastaven cíl projektu a jeho dílčí cíle, charakteristika dárce, akční plány. Dále je nastavena fundraisingová strategie a rozpočet pro celkový rok a také pro podcíl účasti na delfinoterapii. Akční plány jsou rozděleny do tří hlavních dílčích cílů, a to rozšíření komunikace s dárci a tím i jejich udržení, organizace online crowdfundingové kampaně pro získání financí na delfinoterapii a také organizace benefičního koncertu pro získání financí pro vedlejší náklady. Závěrem je projekt podroben rizikové, časové a nákladové analýze.

Abstract:

The thesis focuses on fundraising, marketing, and these methods of raising a target amount of money to support special treatment for an individual. In the theoretical part, the findings from the field of fundraising, donor behavior, fundraising strategies, marketing communication, relationship marketing, and current trends in donor support, donor behavior, or measuring the success of fundraising activities are assessed. Furthermore, the fundraising activities used, the current budget, and sources of its coverage are analyzed and the plan for the coming year is identified, along with the possibilities of new funding methods. A questionnaire survey was developed to determine donor motivation and behaviour and the subsequent findings were summarised by a SWOT analysis. Based on these findings, the project goal and sub-goals, donor characteristics, and action plans were set. A fundraising strategy and budget for the overall year and also for the sub-goal of participation in dolphin therapy were set. The action plans were divided into 3 main action plans, namely expanding communication with donors and thus retaining them, organizing an online crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for dolphin therapy, and also organizing a benefit concert to raise funds for incidental costs. Finally, the project was subjected to a risk, time, and cost analysis.
