Etiology of trauma and the effect of salutators in people with autoimune thyroid disease.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá hledáním souvislostí mezi adverzivními zážitky z dětství (ACE), potencionálně náročnými životními událostmi a vznikem autoimunitního onemocnění štítné žlázy a současně mapuje pozitivní faktory, které mají vliv na vnímání onemocnění a život u pacientů s Hashimotovou thyreoiditidou. Teoretická část práce je věnována traumatu, charakteristice autoimunitního onemocnění štítné žlázy, jako psychosomatickému onemocnění a jejich vlivu na vznik onemocnění. Současně popisuje biologické, psychologické, sociální a ekologické faktory, které souvisí s autoimunitním onemocněním. V praktické části je popsán realizovaný výzkum, jehož cílem bylo analyzovat společné determinanty, které se vyskytují u pacientů s autoimunitním onemocněním štítné žlázy. Přibližuje žitou zkušenost osob s Hashimotovou thyreoiditidou a ukazuje změny, které pacienti s autoimunitním onemocněním udělali v rámci hledání cesty k zlepšení svého zdravotního stavu.

Abstract:

The presented diploma thesis investigates the connections between adverse childhood experiences (ACE), potentially challenging life events and the emergence of the autoimmune thyroid disease, while simultaneously mapping positive factors influencing the perception of the disease and its impact on patients with Hashimoto´s thyroiditis. The theoretical part of the work is devoted to trauma, to the characteristics of the autoimmune thyroiditis as a psychosomatic disease and their influence on the development of the disease. At the same time it describes biological, psychological, social and ecological factors related to the autoimmune disease. The practical part describes the research carried out, the aim of which was to analyze determinats that are common in patients with autoimmune thyroid disease. It brings live experience of patients with Hashimoto´s thyroiditis and reflects the changes that the patients of the autoimmune disease have made as part of their search to improve their health condition.
