The image of women of period so called normalization in the Belles-letters

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce byla rekonstrukce života ženy v období tzv. normalizace, jak jej zachycuje krásná literatura coby primární pramen. Předpokladem analýzy literárních textů bylo studium literárně-historické odborné literatury, pojednávající o českých autorech 2. poloviny 20. století. Získané informace rozčleněné do dílčích kapitol vyžadovaly následnou komparaci s odbornou literaturou, jež se věnuje tematice každodennosti a genderové problematice sledovaného období. Na základě tohoto postupu vzniklo dvanáct kapitol, z nichž první čtyři mají teoretické zaměření. První kapitola stručně specifikuje krásnou literaturu jako historický pramen, ve druhé je nastíněna problematika ženy jako předmětu historického studia, třetí se pak zaměřuje na samotné období tzv. normalizace a ve čtvrté kapitole jsou uvedeny medailony autorů, které nám pomáhají při kritickém hodnocení jejich děl. Následujících osm kapitol pojednává o ženě v různých rolích v období tzv. normalizace. Je tak zobrazeno dospívání ženy, její přijetí role matky od období těhotenství až po starost o děti. Následně je nahlédnuto do partnerských vztahů muže a ženy, jež nebyly vždy idylické, ale také do méně radostného období stáří ženy. Popsány jsou pracovní příležitosti v té době ženě nabízené, ale také její možnosti trávení volného času. Částečně je odkryt život ženy, která byla ve spojení s disentem, následky plynoucí z této situace, tedy jednotlivé podoby perzekuce včetně vězení. Poslední kapitola je pak věnována ženské módě.

Abstract:

The objective of the diploma thesis is reconstruction of life of women in the period of so called normalization as it is captured in the Belles-lettres, which is the primar source. Therefore, studying of literary-historic reference books dealing with Czech authors of the second half of 20th century is also necessary. Gained information is subsequently necessary to be sorted out into consistuent chapters, and then execute a comparison with reference works, which deal with the observed period. In terms of this method of operation, twelve chapters have been created. The first four of them are of theoretical aiming. The first chapter briefly specifies the Belles-lettres as a hictoric source, the second one outlines issues of women as a subject of historic study, the third one is focused on the period of so called normalization and the fourth chapter contains of profiles of the authors, which help us with critical evaluation of their works. The following eight chapters deal with woman in different roles in the period of so called normalization. The maturing of woman, her acceptance of the role of mother, from her pregnancy to care of her children, and subsequently there is look into relationships of men and women, which were not only idyllic, and also a look into women's old years, which were not always happy. Afterwards, job opportunities, which were offering to women in that times, and possibilities of spending free time for women are described. The life of women, who were in touch with dissent and the consequences following from this fact, that means particular ways of persecution, including prison, are fractionally revealed. The last chapter deals with women fashion.
