Creation of an investment portfolio in managerial investment decisions

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tvorbou investiční portfolia podniku ARMATURY A POTRUBNÍ DÍLY s. r. o. v rámci manažerského investičního rozhodování. Pozor-nost je věnována jak posouzení finanční situace společnosti, tak oblasti řízení in-vestic. Cílem této práce je na základě finanční analýzy zhodnotit a podat přehled o fi-nančním zdraví podniku a následně vytvořit doporučení optimálního investičního portfolia. V teoretické části jsou představeny základní pojmy a metody finanční analýzy a dále je pozornost věnována investiční činnosti podniku se zaměřením na finanč-ní investice prostřednictvím fondů kolektivního investování ETF. Praktická část spočívá v provedení finanční analýzy podniku a na základě zís-kaných informací je následně sestaven návrh vhodného investičního portfolia. Dá-le je vyhodnocena efektivnost daného portfolia i vliv měnového rizika. V závěru práce jsou shrnuty nejdůležitější výstupy finanční analýzy a výsledky navrženého portfolia.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the creation of the investment portfolio of the company ARMATURY A POTRUBNÍ DÍLY s. r. o. within the framework of manageri-al investment decision-making. Attention is paid to both the assessment of the company´s financial situation and the area of investment management. The aim of this work is to evaluate and provide an overview of the financial health of the company based on financial analysis and then create recommenda-tion for the optimal investment portfolio. The theoretical part introduces the basic concepts and methods of financial analysis and further attention is paid to the investment activity of the company with a focus on financial investments through collective investment funds ETFs. The practical part consists of carrying out a financial analysis of the company and, on the basis of the information gathered, a proposal for an appropriate in-vestment portfolio is then drawn up. Furthermore, the efficiency of the portfolio and the impact of currency risk are evaluated. At the end of the thesis are summarised the most important outputs of the fi-nancial analysis and the results of the proposed portfolio.
