Changes in fibre concentration in fodder of orchard grass (Dactylis glomerata L.) under different permanent grassland’s intensity of utilisation

Abstract:

Cílem této práce bylo stanovit koncentraci hrubé vlákniny a ADF v píci srhy laločnaté (Dactylis glomerata L.) vytříděné ze sklizené píce nehnojených trvalých travních porostů a zhodnotit rozdíly vzniklé odlišnými termíny 1. sklizní. Vzorky použité k tomuto účelu byly získány z maloparcelového pokusu založeného v roce 2005 v Rapotíně. Každá varianta pokusu s trvalými travními porosty byla obhospodařována s rozdílnou intenzitou využívání. Mezi 4 druhy intenzity využívání patří intenzivní (4 seče za rok – 1. seč 15. května), středně intenzivní (3 seče za rok – 1. seč 31. května), málo intenzivní (2 seče za rok – 1. seč 15. června) a extenzivní (1 seč za rok – 1. seč 30. června). Během studie byl zaznamenán statisticky významný vliv intenzity využívání na koncentraci vlákniny a ADF v píci srhy laločnaté. Bylo zjištěno, že s klesající intenzitou využívání dochází k poklesu koncentrace vlákniny. Od ostatních se významně odlišovala (P < 0,05) píce srhy laločnaté při intenzivním využívání, ve které byla zaznamenána nejnižší hodnota koncentrace vlákniny (254,3 g/kg suš.). Nejvyšší průměrnou hodnotu koncentrace vlákniny (366,2 g/kg suš.) naopak vykazovala extenzivní varianta. Bylo zjištěno, že při sklizni srhy laločnaté koncentrace vlákniny i ADF pozitivně korelovala s průměrnou výškou porostu. Korelační koeficienty jsou (R = 0,9832; P < 0,001) pro vlákninu a (R = 0,9345; P < 0,001) pro ADF.

Abstract:

The aim of the study was to determine crude fibre and ADF concentration in fodder of orchard grass (Dactylis glomerata L.) separated from the harvested forage of unfertilised permanent grasslands and to evaluate differences caused by different dates of the 1st cut. The forage samples used for this purpose were obtained from the small-plot trial established in Rapotín in 2005. Each variant was managed with different intensity of exploitation. There are four types of grassland exploitations: intensive (4 cuts per year – 1st cut on 15th May), medium intensity (3 cuts per year – 1st cut on 31st May), low intensity (2 cuts per year – 1st cut on 15th June) and extensive variant (1 cut per year – 1st cut on 30th of June). There was statistically significant effect of intensity of grassland exploitation on fibre and ADF concentration in fodder of orchard grass. The fibre concentration increased with decreasing intensity of exploitation. The intensively utilised variant differed (P <0,05) from the other treatments having lowest fibre concentration (254,3 g/kg DM). On the other hand, the highest mean value of fibre concentration (366,2 g/kg DM) showed the orchard grass fodder from the extensive exploitation. It was also found, that fiber and ADF concentration positively correlated with the orchard’s mean height by at harvest with correlation coefficients being R = 0,9832 (P < 0,001) for CF and R = 0,9345 (P < 0,001) for ADF.
