Folk song in the music class in Slovakia

Abstract:

This thesis examines the use of folk song in music class in Slovakia. The study analyses the State education program and coursebooks for the 5th, 6th and 7th grades of primary school. The empirical part of the study evaluates data on the work with folk song gathered from the teachers and students of multiple regions of Slovakia. Included is a concrete proposal of work with folk song in the music classes of 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades of primary school, as an answer to found shortcomings.

Abstract:

Práca skúma využitie ľudovej piesne na hodinách hudobnej výchovy na Slovensku. Pri výskume je analyzovaný Štátny vzdelávací program a učebnice hudobnej výchovy pre 5., 6. a 7. ročník základných škol. Empirická časť výskumu vyhodnocuje dáta o práci s ľudovu piesňou od učiteľov a žiakov zo viacerých regiónov Slovenska. Súčasťou je tiež konkrétny návrh práce s ľudovou piesňou na hodinách hudobnej výchovy v 5., 6., 7. a 8. ročníku základnej školy ako odpoveď na odhalené nedostatky.
