Abstract:
Výchozím bodem pro práci byla 3. kapitola Huysmansova románu "Naruby" (1884), kde autor podává svůj pohled na latinskou literaturu velmi nezvyklým způsobem. Útočí na klasické spisovatele, především na Vergilia, abych zahrnul chválou manýristické spisovatele. Mezi oblíbené autory zahrnuje i téměř neznámého křesťanského básníka Commodiana, který není ani klasický ani vynikající manýrista. Práce se bude …more
Abstract:
The starting point of this thesis is 3. chapter of Huysmans novel "A rebours" (1884), in which author states his striking view on latin litterature. Huysmans wages war against the illustrous classical writers, especially against Virgil, in favor of manneristical ones. He also praises obscure christian poet Commodianus, whom we cannot designate as a classicist or mannerist. My thesis is focused not …more
