Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem klášterních zahrad. Práce je rozdělena do několika částí. V literární rešerši je zpracován historický vývoj středověku, popsána periodizace této doby s ohledem na vznik křesťanství a jeho vliv na rozvoj společnosti a vztah k zahradnímu umění. In the literary research, the historical development of the Middle Ages is described, the periodization of this period is described with regard to the emergence of Christianity and its influence on the development of society and the relation to the garden art.
