The utilization of pulleys in arboriculture

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce porovnáván účinnosti kladek a lan běžně užívaných ve stromolezení. Efektivita byla v této práci pojata jako schopnost kladkového systému pracovat s minimální frikcí a minimální námahou ze strany pracovníka, který s tímto systémem pracuje. Posuzuje ztráty síly při použití různých kladek a lan. Vyhodnocuje nejvhodnější sestavy pro využití kladkostroje v práci arboristů. Dále obsahuje rešeršní rozbor základních použití kladek a kladkostrojů v různých oborech. Práce obsahuje přehled účinností těchto nezbytných stromolezeckých potřeb.

Abstract:

This thesis compares the effectiveness of pulley and rope systems commonly used in arboristic tree climbing. In this study, effectiveness was conceptualized as the capacity of the hoist system to do work with minimal friction and minimal effort on the part of the worker operating with the system. This study assesses the loss of the force using different kinds of pulleys and ropes and evaluates the most suitable setups for the utilization of hoist systems in arborists’ work. This thesis also involves a broad survey of the various applications of pulleys and hoist systems. This thesis also provides a broad examination of the efficiency of these essential tree climbing tools.
