Controlling and Reporting of a specific company in the hotel industry

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá oblastí controllingu a reportingu konkrétního hotelu XY patřící do portfolia největší hotelové skupiny v České republice. Práce je koncipovaná do třech částí. Teoretická část specifikuje základní pojmy controllingu, jeho cíle, reporting a jeho druhy. Dále se věnuje problematice daného tématu a klíčovým ukazatelům měřící výkonnost hotelu. Praktická část navazuje na část teoretickou a vystihuje metody a procesy controllingového a reportovacího systému hotelu XY za dvě kumulovaná období, na jejímž základě je nastavena celá společnost CPI Hotels, a.s. Zabývá se též porovnáním indikátorů výkonnosti hotelu a rozpočetnictvím vybraných úseků. Konečným výstupem práce je návrhová část, která prezentuje zjištěné nedostatky.

Abstract:

The bachelor´s dissertation deals with the area of controlling and reporting of the particular hotel XY belonging to the portfolio of the largest hotel group in the Czech Republic. The dissertation is devided into three parts. The theoretical part specifies the basic concepts of controlling, its objectives, reporting and its types. It also deals with the matter of the subject and key indicators measuring the hotel's performance. The theoretical part is followed by the practical part which describes the methods and processes of the hotel XY controlling and reporting system for two cumulative periods. The whole CPI Hotels, a.s. is based on the same princip of controlling and reporting system. It also deals with comparison of hotel performance indicators and budget of selected hotel division. The final output of the dissertation is the proposal which presents the faults and insufficiensies.
