This master's thesis deals with the analysis of the justifications used by the euro area member states in 2008-2013 in relation to the types of crisis solutions adopted. The thesis builds on the theory of rational choice institutionalism, whose arguments are used to set up a qualitative and quantitative content analysis of Eurogroup documents.
