The possibilities of implementation of selected elements of the Japanese business philosophy to the particular company

Abstract:

Tématem této bakalářské práce je uvedení do problematiky štíhlého managementu jako nástroje, díky němuž lze na konkrétním pracovním místě ve společnosti Aspera Technology omezit plýtvání. První část je věnována představení pojmu štíhlý management, seznámení s jeho historií a také s metodami, které tato filozofie řízení podniku využívá. Hlavní část práce již tvoří implementace metody 5S, která byla pro redukci plýtvání v dané firmě vyhodnocena jako nejvhodnější. Tato metoda byla zavedena na pracovní místo, které se nachází na počátku procesu lakování. Práce obsahuje popis tohoto pracovního místa před zavedením metody 5S a změn, ke kterým došlo po její implementaci. V závěru práce jsou uvedena zlepšení, kterých bylo touto implementací dosaženo, přičemž hlavní část těchto zlepšení tvoří právě redukce plýtvání.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on an introduction of the theory of lean management as a tool, which is able to reduce waste at the particular workplace in Aspera Technology company. The first part of this thesis pays attention to presentation of lean management, familiarization with its history and description of appropriate methods. The main part consists of implementation of the method called 5S which was evaluated as the most appropriate method of lean management regarding waste reduction in the given company. The 5S method was established to the particular workplace at the beginning of the varnishing process. The description of the workplace before implementation of the 5S method is provided and relevant changes are highlighted in the thesis. In conclusion, achieved improvements are mentioned while the most important one is the waste reduction.
