Evaluation of the subject Equestrianism from the perspective of students from the field of Horse Breeding

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá evaluací předmětu Jezdectví z pohledu studentů oboru Chov koní. Pro praktické účely této práce bylo vybráno pět středních zemědělských škol, na kterých probíhá výuka odborného předmětu Jezdectví v rámci oboru Agropodnikání se zaměřením Chov koní a jezdectví. Vybrány byly školy Střední škola zemědělská a veterinární Lanškroun, Česká zemědělská akademie v Humpolci, Střední škola zemědělská Přerov, Střední škola zemědělská a přírodovědná Rožnov pod Radhoštěm a Vyšší odborná a střední zemědělská škola Benešov. Školy byly vybrány pro svoji bohatou historii vzdělávání v oblasti chovu koní. Podkladem pro tvorbu praktické části práce byl speciálně vytvořený on-line dotazník prostřednictvím internetové platformy. Odkaz na dotazník byl zaslán zástupcům škol a jejich prostřednictvím byl rozšířen mezi žáky třetích a čtvrtých ročníků. Návratnost dotazníku byla 78 kusů. Získané informace byly zpracovány, oddiskutovány a vytvořily odpovědi na průzkumné otázky práce.

Abstract:

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on an evaluation of the subject Equestrianism from the perspective of students from the field of Horse Breeding. For the practical purposes of this thesis, five agricultural secondary schools were selected where teaching of the vocational subject Equestrianism is carried out as part of the field of Agribusiness with a focus on Horse Breeding and Equestrianism. The schools chosen were Lanškroun Secondary Agricultural and Veterinary School, the Czech Academy of Agriculture in Humpolec, Přerov Agricultural Secondary School, the Rožnov pod Radhoštěm Secondary School of Agriculture and Science and the College and School of Agriculture in Benešov. The schools were selected for their rich history of education in the area of horse breeding. The practical part of the thesis was created on the basis of a specially devised online questionnaire via an internet platform. A link to the questionnaire was sent to representatives of the schools and disseminated through them to pupils in years three and four. The number of questionnaires returned was 78. The information obtained was processed and discussed and provided answers to the exploratory questions in the thesis.
