Crowdsourcing in the context of digital nomadism – functions, cumulation of approaches, advances and weaknesses

Abstract:

Digitální nomádství je v současné době pojem na vzestupu a mnoho lidí zajímá, jak tento princip funguje. Obecná definice pojmu „nomád“ označuje kočovníka, tedy člověka v pohybu, bez nutnosti vázat svoji fyzickou účast k místům, institucím nebo potenciálním zaměstnavatelům. S přídomkem „digitální“ (tedy digitální nomád) je označována osoba využívající pouze digitálního prostředí v rámci svého pracovního života. Pojmem „crowdsourcing“ je označován způsob, jakým lze vytvářet projekty a služby, nebo také generovat a kumulovat nápady za reálné finanční prostředky skrze nezávislé internetové uživatele (crowd - dav). Virtuálním zaměstnáváním jednotlivců, kteří se vyznají v určitých oborech, lze následně dosáhnout velmi komplexního výsledku, obsahujícího různé přístupy participantů (zúčastněných na daném projektu) z celého světa. Propojení této nabídky a poptávky zajišťují internetové platformy, kde lze aktivně vyhledávat příležitosti a budovat si tak jistou nezávislost a přehled na digitálním trhu práce. Úkolem této diplomové práce je seznámit potenciálního čtenáře s principy crowdsourcingu v kontextu digitálního nomádství a zároveň vyhledat odpověď na výzkumnou otázku, zdali je možné crowdsourcing považovat za relevantní způsob, na kterém postavit svůj projekt.

Abstract:

Digital nomadism is currently rising term and lot of people is interested in how this principle works. Basic definition of „nomad“ concept describes wanderer, a man in move, without need of physical participation on places, institutions or potential employers. With attribute„digital“ (meant digital nomad) is considered a person using only digital surroundings as part of his work life. By using of „crowdsourcing“ concept is considered way, how to create projects and services, or also generate and cumulate ideas for real funds through independent internet users (crowd). By giving virtual jobs of individuals who are specialized in certain subjects, can be reached of very complex result containing various participant approaches (involved to specific project) from whole world wide. This supply and demand connection ensure Internet platforms, where we can search for opportunities and build certain independence and overview on the digital labor market. The task of this diploma thesis is to apprise potential reader with principles of crowdsourcing in digital nomadism context, and at the same time look for the answer on research question, if it‘s possible to consider crowdsourcing as relevant way to build a project.
