Tato práce si klade za cíl popsat historii a význam jednoho ze vzácnějších, avšak v poslední době stále oblíbenějších obsazení, která se v jazzové hudbě vyskytují, tedy tria ve složení saxofon, kontrabas a bicí. The main goal of this thesis is to describe the history and significance of one of less usual formats that has appeared within a tradition of jazz music - the format of saxophone, double bass and drums. In addition to the historic overview of this format, his main protagonists will be listed as well as their body of work.
