Tato práce mapuje problémy v dnešním vězeňství, blíže se zabývá koncepcí českého vězeňství, zaměstnáváním vězňů, materiálními podmínkami v českých věznicích, vztahem veřejnosti k vězeňství jako takovému, problematikou prostředků, kterými disponují vězni k ochraně svých práv, dále úzce pojednává o drogové problematice. The thesis attends to problems of the Czech prison service in these days. It deals with the concept of the prison service, empoyment of prisoners, material conditions in Czech prisons, public relationship to prison service, instruments prisoners have to protect their rights and drug problems.
